The C25/3015/2723 2-sided Pixel Chain is an addressable LED pixel system designed for installations where light must be visible from more than one direction. Each node uses SMD 3535 RGB LED components mounted on opposite faces of the PCB, delivering RGB output on both sides simultaneously. Running on DC12V, each string holds 20 nodes spaced 10cm apart, with a power draw of 0.72W per node. It supports UCS1903 and GS8206 protocols, 16.7 million colors, and 256 grayscale levels.
Most pixel chains emit light from one direction only. That creates visible gaps in 3D suspended installations, where viewers approach from multiple angles and half the nodes face away from the audience.
This is solved by a PCB dual-sided design which gives a symmetrical light distribution on two sides and has a CRI of more than 80. Both sides have identical colour output, whether it’s a hanging curtain over a stage or a hung grid array.
The polycarbonate shell is UV-stabilized to prevent fading from long term outdoor exposure. IP68 rated, thus it can be fully submerged in up to 2 meters for 24 hours and is pressure tested.

UV-stabilized polycarbonate shell prevents yellowing from direct sunlight and outdoor UV exposure. The inter-pixel wire is of tinned copper, with great flexibility, and reinforced to allow vertical tension stresses in hung systems without wear of the joints on long runs.
Thermal management benefits from a thermally conductive PCB that spreads the heat around the casing, maintaining operating temperatures below 60°C during long periods of full-brightness operation.
Inter-pixel spacing can be adjusted from 100mm to 1000mm, allowing the node density to be adapted to the layout of the project without the need for special wiring from the start.
Architectural Media Facades — The dual-sided output makes the C25/3015/2723 2-sided Pixel Chain suited for 3D grid arrays on building exteriors, where pedestrians approach from multiple street-level angles and single-sided nodes would create dark faces.

Units are tested for waterproof integrity through submersion at 2 meters for 24 hours before shipment. The UV-stabilized housing is validated for outdoor color retention. Wiring connections are inspected for solder joint integrity under mechanical load conditions relevant to suspended installations.
Color consistency across production batches is measured using integrating sphere photometry to maintain uniformity across nodes in the same string and across strings in the same order.
